Official trailer for Once Again (for the very first time), a film by acclaimed writer/director Boaz Yakin (“The Harder They Fall,” “Fresh,” “Remember the Titans”), executive produced by Academy Award winners Nicholas Maye & Van Lathan (“Two Distant Strangers”). Choreography by Olivier Award-winning street dancer and choreographer Rennie Harris. Score composed by Beyoncé alum Marcus Norris (“Honk for Jesus”).
World premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Thursday, November 16.
The film stars newcomers Jeroboam Bozeman (Alvin Ailey Dance Company) and Mecca “Meccamorphosis” Verdell in a story about legendary street dancer and a young spoken-word poet who reflect on their lives and their challenging relationship through dreams, dance battles, rap battles, and memories.
